Know Who You're Hiring
Joe Gworek
Over 25 years ago, as Joe was starting out as a rookie police officer for Amherst Police Department, he was searching for a way to make some extra money. His beautiful bride, Wendy, of over 30 years, suggested he do some painting on the side for friends and family. Before long, the word spread and Pro Paint was established. The company is well known for completing quality work at an affordable price. With Joe's background as a Detective for the Police Department, it has helped him know the importance of trust and hiring the right person for the job. Nothing makes Joe happier than seeing his customers completely satisfied with a quality job well done. He knows they will then recommend Pro Paint to others. Joe and Wendy have 2 children, Laurie and Allen, 2 grandchildren, Taylor and Benjamin and even one on the way!
Allen Gworek
Allen has been working side by side with his father, Joe, since the early years of the business. With over 14 years now in the company he is transitioning himself into the operational side and learning that there is much more to the business than just applying paint. It requires dedication, honesty and good customer service. He is motivated in "getting the job done right the first time". After graduating from Clarence Senior High School, Allen joined the United States Marine Corps. During his 4 year commitment, he spent time in Kuwait and Iraq where he learned many valuable life lessons including that being a hard worker, diligent and honest will lead you to success. Allen and his wife Deanna are expecting their first child in early March 2010. If there is any time left in a day, Allen try's to fit in some football or hockey, both a favorite pastime.
